As a customer of Caruth Jordanhill for many years, I am very disappointed with the customer service received. Our car was having intermittent issues with a fuel injector and was booked in for next week. Unfortunately, it broke down in the driveway this morning. I gave Caruth a call to let them know I was getting the AA out to diagnose the issue and, if it was the fuel injector as originally suspected, whether there would be any chance they could take it in sooner. Unfortunately, they couldn't as they were busy, which is understandable. However, as it's our only car, I said I was really hoping to get it looked at sooner and might do a quick phone around to see if anyone else could take it. This elicited quite the response from the other end of the phone, as he simply couldn't have provisional bookings, that another 22 people were waiting for that slot, and provisional bookings would be "idiotic". I didn't really get a chance to get another word in edgeways, so I politely cancelled the appointment and hung up. Having used this garage over a dozen times in the last 4-5 years for three different cars, I'm really just disappointed at how I was spoken to as a repeat customer. Your point was valid, and I understand you are busy. The way it was delivered was aggressive and unnecessary. I will not be booking my car in here again, nor recommending you to others as I have done several times in the past. What a silly way for an adult to speak to someone who's just trying to get their car fixed.

Highly recommend. Very accommodating, and fast. Great communication and lovely people. Very reasonably priced. Couldn’t fault a thing!

Diagnosed a fault on my car. They were unable to fix the fault but at least I knew where to go from there. Also did not overcharge and were friendly.

Brilliant service! Brought my car in to have the central locking fixed and it was done within a few hours and for a very reasonable price. Plus, when I picked up my car it had been cleaned (which, let me tell you, was sorely needed and really the cleaning must have been a feat of its own...). Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommended, taken 4 different cars here, family saloons, sports cars, friendly service and honest advice. Great for MOT's, repairs and they will fit aftermarket custom brakes/exhausts etc. Work is priced competitively and they won't try and force you into unnecessary work.
