My car MOT was booked in 1531 Paisley road West branch. I took my car for tire checks a day before in another garage. They inflated my tires, checked them and said that the tires are ok, I also replaced them last year. At the MOT day I was informed that their MO% mashine is broken and they will) take my car to another branch/ 39 Well street, Paisley/ Then I was informed that there is a bulge on my tire and I have to replace it to pass MOT. I was offered over £110 for new tire, I declined, then they said £82.99 for tomorrow/Friday/ or £73.99 for Monday. I accepted 82.99 price. When I went to pay and take my car I asked why the tire is so expensive and they said because it is best quality. Later I took images and asked AI about the quality of the new tire. It said that the tire ILINK 165/60R 81H L-GRIP55 XL B67CC is cheap Chinese unbranded tire that is £63.99 on Halfords website with included fitting. I am 60 years old alone woman and I am frustrated because definitely they took advantage of me using urgent situation with no chance to move my car for tire fitting at another place.

From this morning when I dropped off my car to be greeted with my name made me smile - a nice touch by Paul. I was also offered a complimentary hot drink which is a nice touch that makes customers feel valued. The service provided for MOT and a full service was efficient, professional and quick. This branch has restored my faith in Halfords because I had been rescheduled twice (at short notice) by the Spiersbridge branch. However I’m glad they were able to find me a spot on the same day with the PRW branch. Although it is further away from my home I will be coming back to this branch. Paul was also very helpful with some general car advice that I had enquired about. Staff like this are a company’s most valuable resource and great ambassadors for the Halford brand. Thanks again guys 🚘 😃

i went to get my front wheels aligned and they done them in under an hour despite a busy day. The customer service was 10/10 they offered me coffee and spoke nicely and with respect. They also provided a another chair for my grandfather since he had a condition. Really impressed !

Fantastic experience at this centre today getting an MOT. First time here and recommend it. Dylan and the team were very courteous, efficient and professional, even a coffee while you wait. Very high standard of service that most other centres could learn from.
