Chris the new manager and Nate the apprentice were both fantastic when I had a bulging tyre right before an important journey on a Friday afternoon. They squeezed me in and went above and beyond to make sure I made it on my way in time. Super friendly, fair and knowledgeable service. Chris was explaining that they’ve had a recent change of management, and my experience was definitely worlds apart from some of these other reviews.

This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I booked an appointment for 8:30am and arrived at the centre at 8:31am. Upon arrival, I met the manager at the reception, handed over my car, and clearly explained that I needed the vehicle back by the evening because I was travelling at 18:00. I requested a full diagnostic check on the car. The manager collected my keys and assured me that I would be contacted once the work was completed. After waiting the entire day without any communication, I returned to the centre around 16:30 only to discover, to my shock and disappointment, that my car had not even been attended to. What made the situation even worse was the manager’s completely unapologetic attitude. He casually stated that he only had one staff member available and showed absolutely no empathy or concern for the inconvenience and disruption this caused me. There was no professionalism, accountability, or respect for my time. To make matters worse, at about 17:00, they finally attempted to scan the car, only to claim that the scanning machine was not working because the software was updating and he kept telling me “oh we would refund your money in 3-5 working days” as if he would also refund my time. This level of disorganisation, incompetence, and lack of care is unacceptable. The manager’s unprofessional and inconsiderate behaviour completely ruined my travel plans and caused unnecessary stress and frustration.

Fantastic customer service from Chris, Davie, and Matt. All three staff members were very professional, kind, and informative. They went above and beyond to explain the issues in layman’s terms and recommended the best solutions. They also kindly helped by pumping up my tires that were low on air. The MOT service ran smoothly and was completed on time. I would highly recommend this branch. The team is doing a great job. Thank you very much!

Avoid the Glasgow Alexandra branch. I booked front wheel alignment through National Tyres & Autocare for 28th May at the Glasgow Alexandra branch. When I attended the original appointment, I was told the alignment machine was broken. There was no prior notice online or before arrival. I was asked to call back the following week for an update. Over the following weeks, I made multiple follow-up calls and was repeatedly told either: the machine was still not fixed, someone was coming to repair it, or to call back again later. At one point I asked either to move my booking to another branch or issue a refund. I was told another branch could take me and that I had an appointment there. I drove there only to find they had not expected me. The staff there appeared surprised and explained they had already told the Alexandra branch not to send customers over because they were too busy. I then continued contacting the Alexandra branch and was eventually told the machine had been fixed and to bring the car in on Monday 22nd at 4pm. I arrived at the agreed time and was then told the mechanic was off and to return the next day at 1pm. I returned again on 23rd June for the appointment and was finally told they do not carry out wheel alignment for my car and I should go elsewhere. After all of this, I requested a refund. Initially I was told the refund had already been processed, but after checking my bank account and showing proof, the branch contacted head office and confirmed that no refund had actually been issued. I now need to make a separate claim by phone to recover my payment. The most frustrating part was not the inability to carry out the work — things happen — but the repeated appointments, conflicting information, unnecessary journeys, and lack of clear communication. Unfortunately, based on my experience, customer service fell well below expectations.

This is by far the best servicing place I’ve been too. The workers there was so understanding and so welcoming. When it came to the works it was done quickly and communicated so well. Highly would recommend and will be coming back more for my car servicing.
